The NVH220 Lophius AI Series is the first handheld scanner in the Newland AIDC EMEA portfolio to feature advanced AI-powered barcode detection technology. This innovative technology uses computer vision and self-learning capabilities to accurately interpret barcodes. Available in both corded and Bluetooth versions, the NVH220 Lophius AI Series is designed to deliver reliable, cost-effective scanning in demanding industrial environments. To ensure superior decoding performance, the NVH220 Lophius AI Series features an auto-learning function. When activated, it automatically adjusts brightness and switches the light source between red and blue direct illumination and white diffuse lighting. This enhances barcode decoding, even on challenging surfaces such as reflective materials, curved shapes, varied backgrounds, and different barcode colors.
Built for everyday industrial use, the NVH220 Lophius AI Series is perfect for a wide range of applications, including asset and equipment tracking, fieldwork, inventory management, quality control, compliance, and medical traceability. Its robust construction and IP64-sealed housing ensure reliable performance in environments exposed to dust and water. In addition, it can withstand drops from heights of up to 1.8 meters.

The Bluetooth version features Bluetooth 5.0, ensuring fast wireless communication. This stable, reliable connection supports data transmission up to 150 meters, offering all-day flexibility and efficiency on the work floor. Both versions can be easily configured using Newland AIDC EMEA’s complementary configuration software, EasySet.
