The challenge was to design an eco-friendly ticket scanner that was durable and capable of handling high-volume event check-ins while ensuring quick and accurate QR-code scanning.
ContactMate Events selected Newland AIDC EMEA’s EM27 to power their new ticket-scanning solution. This compact yet powerful scan engine allows fast, reliable barcode reading, even under challenging conditions such as scratches on phone screens or screen protectors. You cannot tell, but the solution utilizes eco-friendly birch wood for the design housing, aligning with ContactMate Events’s sustainability values while ensuring the efficiency needed for seamless event entry.
