Newland Sponsored Football Team Reaches Semi-Finals
New Jacks FC, a Newland sponsored football team based in the UK, just finished their first season in the Hertfordshire premier league. The season was tough but they managed to fight off relegation with a late run of victories. The St Albans based men’s football team, made both Semi finals in their league cup competitions and the quarter final of the senior county cup competition.
Their attacking style at times put a great deal of pressure on the defence but the teams philisosphy helped gain an individual award for the main striker (Jimmy Owen ) who finished the season as the divisions top scorer.
Newland EMEA has been sponsoring the New Jacks FC since the start of their season early September 2015. The team is managed by Newland’s sales manager UK, David Craggs, who commented: “We had a big turnover of players over last summer and I took a few weeks for us to settle on the best system. I fully expect us to be stronger for the experience and even better prepared for the rigors of Hertfordshire premier league football next year”
