New Sales Manager Philippe Mezerette adds momentum for Newland in France
This February, Newland EMEA has taken on board Philippe Mezerette. He will be at the helm of the French market as their new Sales Manager.
France is home to the sixth largest national economy and has always been an active region for Newland. With the AIDC veteran as local Sales Manager, they’re committing to the growing business landscape. They’ll be closer to customers and partners as well as expanding business in the region.
“France has a strong AIDC landscape. We see a wide variety of businesses looking for technology with which they can distinguish themselves. Even more so after the wave of changes this past year due to digitalization of existing processes and the implementation of new blockchain & IOT concepts,” CEO Peter Sliedrecht explains. “There is no better time to further increase Newland’s presence in the French market and it’s clear Philippe has the perfect skillset to lead that charge. I am delighted to welcome him to the EMEA team.”

Philippe has spent much of his career working for large industrial companies in the automation and AIDC world. Throughout his 30 years of experience, he started out as a Sales Manager in the energy industry. After this, he moved into AIDC, where he most recently was the Territory Manager for Software and Hardware, dedicated to the logistics industry.
In his new role, he will be responsible for French sales, developing local activity with channel partners and growing the brand in a variety of environments. “Throughout my experience in the industry, I found in Newland a company with a good reputation and strong investment in innovation,” says Philippe. “The French market is asking for the latest technology. Newland’s development and ability to adapt their portfolio to customer needs will be the key driver for growth.” Overall, his focus will be on working closely with partners to place Newland firmly at the top of AIDC innovation in the French retail and industrial markets. In this process, he will be supported by Roberto Schiavo, Newland’s VP of Southern Europe.
