Newland Europe & Taiwan is producer of various Auto-ID and POS solutions. As part of Newland Computer, we develop, produce and market Barcode Scanners, 2D imagers, Portable Data Collectors, POS / payment solutions and customer information terminals, such as Price Verifiers / Checkers.
Fujian Newland Auto-ID Tech. Co., Ltd one of China’s AIDC leading companies a full daughter Newland Science and Technology Group has opened on October 1st 2008 a new venture and regional head office for Europe in The Netherlands and Asia in Taiwan.
Newland has developed a great products line based on 2D Imagers technology CMOS or vision-based imaging technology primarily used for the scanning of 2D symbols such as Data Matrix, QR code, and Maxi Code.
Newland Europe BV / Taiwan is honored to manage and channel Newland’s fast growing European and Asian AIDC Business.
Newland Europe BV operation will cover all European countries including Russia and Turkey. Newland Taiwan operation will cover the Asia Pacific region excluding China mainland. Both operations will include sales and marketing, admin, logistics and warehousing and RMA handling and repairs.
Heading the new ventures will be Peter H. Sliedrecht who has been appointed as CEO.
Before this new challenge he was the CEO for more than 8 years of one Europe’s leading retail scanner manufacturer. He is joint by an team of AIDC specialists with many years of experience in the European AIDC community.
